Dear friend,

If you are looking for a way to connect more closely with the global Church and to help others in your local church to do likewise, I would like to ask you to consider becoming an "MWC Connector."

A small commitment of time on your part may make a big difference to both you and to MWC's ongoing work worldwide.

As an "MWC Connector," you will:

  1. Be able to pray intelligently for Anabaptists in many parts of the world. We will send you regular updates and requests by email, keeping you in touch with the needs and celebrations that are happening all around the world.

  2. Understand the pulse of the global Church. You will receive by email news releases and stories prepared by the MWC News Service. (You might even want to forward them to others in your congregation.)

Many publications are unable to publish the complete news releases, so sometimes vital details are missed. Or the stories aren't published at all. By receiving the full releases, you and those around you will have access to a much more complete picture of what is actually happening in our churches around the world.

  3. Receive MWC's quarterly magazine, the only global Anabaptist-Mennonite publication - in the language of your choice (English, Spanish, or French). You can choose to receive Courier/Correo/Courrier electronically - you will receive an email alert when the new issue is posted on the web site - or in paper edition. If you prefer the paper edition, Courier will be sent to you free of charge (although we won't turn away an annual donation to defray costs, if you choose).

And after you've read it, you may want to pass on your copy of Courier to other persons in your congregation who might have interest in the magazine's meaningful discussion of issues, relevant to believers everywhere in our worldwide community of faith.

  4. Interact with leaders in the international Anabaptist community. When someone in MWC leadership speaks in or near your community, consider attending. We will send you periodic emails with the speaking engagements of key MWC leaders and staff in your area. Consider going to the meeting and take others with you.

  5. Learn about new publications for the global Anabaptist community. You'll want to stay current with two exciting series of books:
    a) The Global Mennonite History series. The first two books on Africa and Europe have already been published, with the histories of the other three continents yet to come; and
    b) The Global Anabaptist/Mennonite Shelf of Literature, which honors one book each year as a special selection for the worldwide fellowships to read. Five books have already been published in this series.
You will want to read these books and tell others in your local church or group about them. We will keep you informed about these books and any other MWC-related books

  6. Speak up for MWC's financial support. For instance, when MWC comes up in your congregational or conference budget, maybe you'll decide to put in an encouraging word. It's amazing what a well-placed word from a well-informed source can do.
In brief, "MWC Connectors" are better informed about events and concerns in the global Church, read Courier and the books related to the global church, interact with MWC leaders and key staff on occasion, and pray intelligently for our work and the work of the churches around the world.

Will you consider becoming an "MWC Connector" today?

Simply [see below] and register at "MWC Connector Sign Up." If you have questions and would like additional information, or if you would prefer to register by e-mail instead of on-line, please send a message to Dennis Becker (DennisBecker@mwc-cmm.org) who coordinates the "Connectors" network.

It's that simple. Once you've signed up, you'll begin receiving prayer requests, news stories, information about MWC leaders' visits, Courier/Correo/Courrier, and news about new MWC publications.

I hope you decide to "connect" to MWC and the global Church!

With friendly greetings,

Larry Miller
