What you read in 2020

In 2020, Mennonite World Conference unveiled a newly designed website with simpler menus and mobile-friendly display.

You, our members, were interested in news on Assembly this year, and there was a lot of it – including in Indonesian:

Readers in all languages read about theologian Alfred Neufeld who died this year after a long illness.

You also sought out the Anabaptist World Fellowship Sunday worship materials and read Courier online – including old issues in Japanese, Chinese, Hindi and Korean.

Do not fear: prayers for COVID-19” was a comfort to many English readers. Many of you filled out the survey for the Creation Care Task Force – in English and Spanish.

In Spanish and French, you regularly visited our prayers page for new calls to intercede for our global family.

Our French readers enjoyed “Being Mennonite, in France, today?” an article on the French-only section of the website, the francophone network (Reseau Mennonite Francophone).

Updates from the COVID-19 fund drew the attention of our Spanish readers. You also looked for information about the Global Church Sharing Fund.

In additional languages, Hindi readers were interested in “Solidarity and our Interconnectedness” from the Peace Sunday resources.

The update on conscientious objector Sang Min Lee’s story, “Amnesty for Sang Min” drew Korean readers to the site.

Vietnamese readers checked out the news about the COVID-19 response fund
