Young adults from a Mennonite World Conference (MWC) member church in the Global South are invited to apply for a one-year internship in the Mennonite Central Committee United Nations office at in New York USA. The program is sponsored jointly by MWC and Mennonite Central Committee’s International Volunteer Exchange program (IVEP).
Applicants must be between 25 and 30 years of age, single, college or university-educated, committed to peace and peacemaking, and active in an MWC-affiliated church in their own country. They also must be fluent in English.

Our current intern:
Moses Osiro is a member of Eastleigh Fellowship Centre Church in Nairobi, Kenya and graduated in 2015 with a degree in international relations. Since 2012 Moses has been a volunteer at Menno Peace and Reconciliation Initiatives (MEPERI) assisting in gathering data, getting supplies for seminars and organizing transportation logistics. Moses’ most recent work in Kenya has been with a small NGO called Poverty Eradication and Community Empowerment (PEACE). He worked as the chief executive officer initiating projects, finding funding, overseeing programming and managing daily tasks. Moses has also done some freelance article writing and enjoys singing in his church choir.
